I should be in bed

It's almost 11pm. I should not be online. But I was busy...looking on etsy. Thanks to my sister, I've had tiles on the brain (I helped her tile her back splash). I want these...

They've been in my favorites forever. The only problem is, I don't really know what I would tile right now. I guess I need a project. There's not enough of them to do my back splash:(

So, do you have any ideas for me?

Sorry, no pics of the boys tonight. I need to go to bed!

Little Max....my newest little nephew. So cute and some wild hair! I love it! Neither one of my boys had hair like that:) Thanks, Michelle for letting us come over and play!

little boy, big truck

Dear Slone (Sloney, Monkey-Butt, Little Man),

Well, your nicknames aren't nearly as nice as Bo's. Sorry about that. I hope you know that I love you. You should, we say it to each other twenty times a day. I love the way you say it too, "Mom, I love you the whole world." I think you're saying that you love me most in the whole world. I do too, Sloney. You are sensitive, kind, and smart. I hope you stay that way. I wonder if you'll use those gifts to become a vet, since you love animals so much. You just need to get over the fear of them first. But you are doing better with that:) I'm so excited to see you grow up! Preschool here you come!

Remember to always be sensitive, kind, and smart...especially to your brother. I hope you two grow up to be best friends. You will, if I have anything to do with it!

Love you the whole world, Mom

little boy, big hat

Dear Bo (Turbo, Turb, Bo-ee),

What a cute kid you are! More ornery than most children I've met. The child that I said my children wouldn't act like. But you know what? I like you. I would rather be around you any day than without you. You have more spunk, more attitude, more determination than I thought you would have. I honestly thought you would be the "easy one". Your brother was the hard-headed one, not my sweet little baby Bo. I hope you grow up to have more spunk, more attitude (well, not too much), more determination than most people you know. I hope you grow up to be what God wants you to be, and use those strong characteristics to be great!

You are asleep right now, and for that, I'm thankful. You've already been through 3 pairs of underwear today, two sets of clothes, and you've ate more so far than I will eat all day.

I hope you have a kid just like you someday:)

Love, Mom

My little garden

I begged for a garden this year, but Matt was not having it. So I asked my dad to come over and help me:) We put it all together on Tuesday night and filled it up with dirt. It's a couple of 2x8's screwed together and it sits on the ground instead of tilling up the yard.

Charity was nice enough to give me the "leftovers" of her garden expedition. Thanks, Charity! I got four tomato plants, four pepper plants (two green, two yellow), four cherry tomato plants, three jalapeno plants, and a bunch of onions. I'm really excited about these little plants. Hopefully, I'll have some great tomatoes this year!

It also rained a thousand inches yesterday. So I guess this guy probably about needed some sun this morning. But I bet anything that he wished he hadn't even got up. Slone found him, so now he's our new pet. He's already been in the house....but that was short lived once I found him. So now he's in a five gallon bucket in the shed. He's gross....I can't even hardly post this pic.

"Don't you have some house tidy to get done?"Can't you hear him? That's exactly what was being said at this moment:)

Pizza night

The other night I made homemade pizza. I was all alone in the house while I was making it so I decided to take some pictures. Lame, huh?

Well, here's my pizza!

Sausage is Matt's ingredient of choice....and ONLY sausage. He hates everything else, pepperoni included. I have no idea how anyone can hate pepperoni! Especially, someone who only wants meat pizzas. I have to add it, and I add mushrooms. Or marshmallows as Slone likes to call them.

I use my batter bowl to mix up the dough. Yup, I make that from scratch too. Is it made from scratch if you use Jiffy mix? Anyway, that batter bowl was my Grandma Morey's. Isn't it cool? I love it.

Oh, and you have to grate your own cheese. I truly believe that it taste so much better if you do.

Doesn't it look yummy? It was!

Bo loved it! He ate three pieces.

Slone had pizza too....a lunchable pizza. He's just like his dad.

our week

We have cows. Well, not really, they aren't ours. They are in the pasture around our house. But Slone likes to think that they are his. He has them all named. He really doesn't know who's who of the cow though, because Matt said that there are about 90 in there. It's almost like I'm the pioneer woman! Just kidding, Charity:)

Did I mention that I love nap time? That's the only way that this post is getting posted right now. I have to go clean up our basement. It's been leaking a little water, you know, since it hasn't quit raining here in forever. I'm ready for the sun again!
