hair cutting night

This is how we spend our Saturday nights now:) Slone absolutely hates it. He starts whining around as soon as we mention it.

It's really hard not to laugh through the whole ordeal. Then things like this happen...

We didn't leave it like that. But I think Slone wouldn't have cared. He was so done with the clippers by this point.

Turbo though, will sit happily awaiting his turn.

While the cat's away...

Is that the right saying for this? Even though I was in the next room working on paperwork? Seriously just how much damage can these kids do in a half an hour?
I don't even want to show you the color shot of this because it's so bad!

Then they do this. So sweet. I did make them clean everything up. Don't think that I did it!

p.s. I have no idea why these pics are so small. I'll do better next time:)

This weekend...

I was checking out some new blogs that I found and came across this one...La Bella Vita. She writes a "Wednesday Whistle", it's basically a letter to her two young girls every Wednesday. I think that it's a great idea, so I'm going to copy her:) Mine won't be a "Wednesday Whistle" but hopefully I can keep up with it...Here goes...

Dear Slone & Bo,
Today in Sunday school, Pastor Don asked us what would be three things that we would want to say to the ones we loved if we weren't going to be here any more. I didn't write anything down this morning. I just thought about the two of you and how incredibly much I love you both. Even with the whining, the kamikaze stair jumping, the screaming, the boy noises, I love you so much. So I guess that's number one.

Number two. Don't get discouraged! I am proud of you and know that you both will do something great. I pray for you everyday that you will have terrific lives, that you grow up to be Godly men. Things don't always go like we think that we should, remember that God is always good.

Number three. Don't forget to pray, and read your Bible everyday. I mean everyday. I'll be honest with you. I never read my Bible everyday until this year. I wonder if you'll remember me reading it every morning. It's changing my life. I hope that you can grasp this concept much more quickly than I did.

Well that was pretty deep for the first little installment:) Slone is so sweet like this, even with a filthy face. But it's my little boy's filthy face.

Also if you book a session there, you will get 20% off of the price list!

Sneak Peak for Cassie

I couldn't wait to post this! Morgan was a really easy going baby and was wide awake for her little photo shoot:) And I think she looks way older than just 8 days old! Thanks, Cassie, for letting us come over. The boys can't quit taking about Henry the Bunny. I'll let you know when I get the rest of them finish up!

Easter

We hunted eggs and flew the kites. Everyone had a great time. The boys couldn't hardly wait to get outside and play! It was a little chilly but warmer than it had been. But Easter Sunday is never this warm sunny day that I imagine, but at least it wasn't snowing!

Slone is a little bit of an egg hog.

Taylor was so cute in her little Easter dress.

Bo really did have a good time flying his kite. He might not look like it, but he did. Plus I think my husband looks really good in this picture:)

This is one of the best smiles Jack has ever given me:)

I know, I know

Long time, no posts! No Luanne, there is no more snow! Yippee! It's actually getting a little bit warmer every day! We are almost to 60 degrees, well, we are supposed to be on Easter. We will see....

We will also get to see Jack and Henry, which Slone is so excited about. The boys really get along great, not too much fussing between them now. Bo is beginning to be included with them little by little. It will be interesting when Henry is big enough to add to the mix!

We might get to see my niece Taylor. She'll be visiting her other grandma, so I'm not sure. But I snapped this photo of her the other day at Mom's. She finally looks at me like she likes me, instead of like I'm crazy!

I'll try to keep up on my post better this week:)
