when you get new toys for Christmas. You're old bakugans get left in the fridge and forgotten about for the afternoon:)
{if you don't know what a bakugan is, it's that little black ball in front of the lettuce. You need a 5 year old to explain them too you:)}

Christmas was great
Christmas was great! That's the word around our house. Oh, and we are already getting asked when Santa's coming again:)
The boys got the Big Buck Hunter game. They though it was pretty awesome. Got the best "thank you, mom!" ever....see here:
Actually, the game ended up a little hard for them, but Matt and I had a fun Christmas playing it.
Here are some of my favorite hunters:)

a lot like Christmas
This is what it looks like from out our front door. The boys love it! And we are supposed to get more. I don't mind it, I just hate driving in it.
This year I found this cool Christmas card tree! I love hanging all the cards up on it. It's a fun way to display all of our cards.
This is our little Christmas corner. Of course, the tree is colored lights....you just have to have colored lights when you have kids (well, my kids anyway). Slone has been coming home with little handmade ornaments from Sunday school and preschool. It's been fun adding them to the tree as we go.
There's also the presents. Slone and Bo both got to go shopping at Santa's Secret Shop. They cannot hardly wait until Friday!
Can you see the little village on the mantle? It was my grandma's. I love it:)
Oh, we also had the addition of our temperature gauge that was added by Matt. Supposedly, the perfect spot was on top of the candle stick.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas! I'll be back with pictures from Christmas morning!!

Christmas Cards!
Usually, this is one of the things I like most out of the holidays. But this year, it seems like I can't or don't want to finish it! But there are some things that make it go faster...like this awesome little embosser!
Here it is in action....
And here's the result...
You can snag one for yourself from the Paper Source. I love this store! I am always excited to get their catalog and drool over it! They have lots of fun little trinkets for gifts too.

Christmas -- the busiest time of the year
It seems like everyday is busy, whether it's wrapping gifts (not fun), baking cookies (fun til clean up), going to parties (always fun), or shopping (fun til you deal with the whack jobs at Kohls). But today we were at the mall and we saw the train!
Just so you know, Bo gets to do all the fun stuff while Slone's at school.....really! Slone wanted you to know that.
Then I snapped this pic...
He's looking at the lady who was asking me if he was shy or ornery. Ha! Lady, if you only knew!
Then, of course, the reason I wanted to avoid center court of the mall as a young child, Santa! Bo was really excited about seeing him. Much better than the last time we saw him. Bo wasn't even born yet and Slone was the child screaming bloody murder at him.
I realize that he looks like he's not having fun here. But, believe me, he was pretty impressed. Dear old Santa, though, had his eyes closed in every pic but this one.
You'll have to excuse the pic. I took the lazy way out and emailed it to myself off of my phone!
