You'll remember that I had made Henry's crib bedding awhile ago. You can see it here.
Well, I thought that you might like to see what Charity did with his room! We saw the stripes idea in the Pottery Barn Kids magazine (I think). I think it's so cute. She worked forever on them:) I would have never lasted that long!
She also found the silly animal prints from a seller on etsy...I don't know his name but I can ask her if you want it. We had fun shopping for the frames for them. She got them for $4 apiece!

I got an email tonight...
the subject read "Sewers – Give us feedback on one of...". Now when I read this, I read it as soo-er. Gross was the first word that came to my mind and why am I getting this crap (no pun intended).
Then I realized it was from "the Sewing panel". Ha! They even addressed me as "Dear Sewer". Then they go on to say how "no two sewers are alike".
Maybe it's late, but that really struck me as funny:) Thought I'd share a laugh:)

Cookies and Sweeties
Today, we baked some cookies.
Yummy cookies.
Cookies that you just can't quit eating cookies.
Cookies that even when you feel sick you still keep eating them cookies.
Yes, they were good. But I don't know if they were that good or if I just don't have any self control.
They are called Cowboy Cookies and the recipe was in the back of Martha Stewart's October magazine. They have oatmeal, coconut, pecans and semisweet chocolate chunks in them.
Here are the boys right before bed. Now why, may I ask you, do they not do this when I am on the phone? It's like I live with a bunch of wild men while I'm trying to talk to my sisters. I still love this though...especially because they did it all on their own:)

Freebie Desktop Wallpaper
I love all of these calendars that you can put on your computer. You can find a ton of freebies out there if you know where to look. I found this tonight and added the boys. Here's what I see when I pull up my screen:) Of course, there are tons of little shortcuts on it but it's still sweet just the same.
You can follow this link to All Things Visual to get it for yourself!

Spoon River Drive was fun!
Charity and I had a lot of fun this past weekend selling my things! Of course, not everything is gone, but it was fun nonetheless. I'll be back there this weekend too. Don't worry, I'll be putting everything up online next Monday so you can see what all is new!
Can you believe I did not take one single picture this weekend! We were so excited on Saturday morning that I forgot. Then we had to clean up and refold everything that evening. We were so tired on Sunday that it didn't matter. So here are some pics at the "apple store" or Christ's Orchard as you and I would call it:) The boys are totally in love with the turkeys. I have no idea why. They are one of the ugliest birds that I've ever seen.
